Rajasthan Royals batsman Riyan Parag has faced the wrath of trollers after yet another poor performance with the bat in the ongoing season of the Indian Premier League. Parag was dismissed for just 7 by Rovman Powell on Saturday, who hit the local boy’s wood at Barsapara Cricket Stadium, Guwahati.
Parag came out to bat at a crucial stage of the game when Rajasthan Royals lost their skipper Sanju Samson for a duck in the 10th over. He joined hands with the in-form Jos Buttler but failed to make an impact with the bat. He faced 11 balls and scored just seven runs before being bowled by Powell.

Parag has played 50 IPL matches in which he has scored only 556 runs at an average of 16.35. He has scored only two half-centuries in his IPL career so far. Whereas this season he has scored only 34 runs in three innings.

Meanwhile, Rajasthan Royals scored 199 for four against Delhi Capitals on Saturday.
Opening the innings after Delhi Capitals skipper David Warner opted to bowl first, youngsters Yashasvi Jaiswal and Jos Buttler got RR off to a brisk start, adding 98 runs for the first wicket in just 8.3 overs.
While Jaiswal scored 60 runs in 31 balls, the experienced Buttler scored 79 runs in 51 balls. Later Shimron Hetmyer scored an unbeaten 39 off 21 balls.
Mukesh Kumar was the most successful bowler for DC taking two wickets for 36 runs.
