Bigg Boss Ultimate, the first OTT sole version of the controversial reality show Bigg Boss Tamil, will be the fourth eviction on March 6. The elimination process of the nominated contestants will start from Saturday. Seven contestants have been nominated to be evicted from the house. The nominated prisoners are – Abhirami Venkatachalam, Anita Sampath, Maria Juliana, Snehan, Suruthi Periyasamy, Thadi Bhalaji and Thamarai Selvi.
This week the contestants took part in the wedding task wherein Suruti played the role of the groom and Nirup as the groom. They garlanded and hugged each other while others cheered for them.
This week there was also a heated argument between the contestants regarding the responsibilities of the kitchen.
Bigg Boss Ultimate is streaming on Disney+ Hotstar and it has now completed five weeks. The show which started on 30th January started with 14 contestants who were all contestants of the previous season of Bigg Boss Tamil.
Now after three contestants were evicted and one contestant walked out in the show, there are 11 contestants. Suresh Chakraborty, one of the evicted contestants, was re-introduced as a wild-card entry in the show along with KPY Satish.
Vanitha walked out of the show on the 24th day. She said that she has to take care of her mental health and hence decided to quit the show. After exiting the show, Vanitha indicated in an interview that actor Kamal Haasan was unhappy with the show and hence decided to quit as the host. He claimed that Kamal did not leave the show to shoot for Vikram as claimed by the makers. Actor Simbu has replaced Kamal Haasan as the new host of the show.
“He is Vikram’s producer and he could have easily adjusted the dates for the show and all the cast and technicians would follow him, but he left,” Vanitha said.
Kamal Haasan, who hosted all the seasons of Bigg Boss Tamil, pulled out of Bigg Boss Ultimate in his third week to shoot for this upcoming film Vikram. Later, Simbu took over as the host from the fourth week onwards and would remain so till the end of the show.
