The much awaited reality show Bigg Boss Telugu Season 5 premiered on 5th September. A teaser of the three-hour long special episode was shared online. It gave a glimpse into the gala, the sparkling night with scintillating performances. The host of the show, Nagarjuna has promised the viewers more entertainment than the previous season. Now with a grand launch, the reality show has kick-started another anticipated season. Nagarjuna introduced the new house which got a new makeover. The actor also welcomed the 16 contestants who will be locked in the house for the coming weeks.
The makers shared a promo video for the audience to hint at a promising show. The post on Twitter read, “The Big Day has arrived! 5 Get ready for more fun. Bigg Boss Telugu 5 starts today at 6 PM on Star Maa.”
In a statement, Nagarjuna said, “I look forward to representing and bringing forth the true feelings of the contestants so that the audience can understand them better. I am happy to be a part of a show that is satisfying; Member’s entertainment.
south superstar Allegedly Fee was increased from last season. He will get a salary of around Rs 11-12 crore for the season this year, which is much higher as compared to season 4.
The 62-year-old has previously hosted the third and fourth seasons of the popular show. The confirmed contestants for the season are Sriram Chandra, Vishwas, Shanmukh, Manas Nagulapally, Shailja Priya, Siri Hanmanth, Anchor Ravi, Uma Devi, Knee Master, RJ Kajal, Lahiri Sherry, VJ Sunny and Jaswant Padala.
The reality show will air every weekdays (Monday-Friday) at 10 pm and weekend episodes (Saturday-Sunday) at 9 pm. All the contestants completed mandatory quarantine for two weeks before entering the house.
