Bigg Boss Tamil 5 winner and actor Raju Jayamohan is having the time of his life. The 30-year-old is getting offers from film and TV serials. He is giving interviews to news portals in which he is sharing about his life, work and beyond.
Raju was born in Thirunelveli, Tamil Nadu and brought up in Chennai. Before participating in Bigg Boss Tamil 5, he was a part of the popular television serial Bharathi Kannamma. In a recent interview to an entertainment news portal, he said that he will now take a break from doing television shows.
Prior to Bharathi Kannamma, Raju has worked in TV serials like Kana Kanum Kalangal, Kalluri Salai, Andal Azhagar and Saravanan Meenachi.
“I am getting offers for a few films, but I have not committed to do anything yet. All this is in the discussion stage. I think I will take a break from doing television serials. Though I have other plans for television,” Raju told CinemaExpress.
Raju said that he considers Bigg Boss Tamil a boon. “I have also made some good friends – Iman Annachi, Sibi and Priyanka,” he said.
“I should always try new experiences,” he considers this as his biggest achievement from the Bigg Boss Tamil 5 journey. He said that in the Bigg Boss house, he experienced how conversations can be different when you are without a mobile phone.
Raju said that he is getting a lot of acting offers at the moment. He said that he has ambitions to write, direct and act in a film. Film producer and actor K Bhagyaraj is his inspiration. He said that more time is needed to make the film.
Raju emerged as the winner of Bigg Boss Tamil Season 5, which concluded on January 16, 2022. Jayamohan took home the prize money of Rs 50 lakh along with the trophy.
