Urfi Javed was eliminated from the show in Bigg Boss OTT’s Sunday Ka Vaar. The actress was nominated along with Shamita Shetty and Rakeysh Bapat, who were declared safe. Urfi’s eviction came as a major setback for him as well as the Bigg Boss audience, with many calling it “unfair”.
“I’m still crying. I can’t even tell how disappointed I am. I really felt I deserved to be in the house. I was giving my 100 percent to the show. I know for a fact I think there are a lot of people in the house who do nothing but eat and talk nonsense,” Urfi told us after being evicted.
During a buzzer task, Zeeshan Khan left him and chose Divya Agarwal as his new partner, after which Urfi was nominated. It came after Zeeshan and Urfi mutually decided to work on their connection when Indian matchmaking fame Seema Taparia entered the house to analyze which pair had the most solid relationship.
“It was extremely unfortunate and I still feel bad about it. Whatever happened to me on the show was unfair because I feel like I was putting in a lot more effort than the other contestants,” said Urfi That actor Karan Nath should have been evicted instead.
“Karan doesn’t do anything on the show. His only job is to misbehave with people. Just because he has a body and physique doesn’t mean he is a strong personality.”
Urfi also took a dig at Divya, who faced a lot of criticism during the Sunday Ka Vaar episode for humiliating some of the contestants. Host Karan Johar even called Divya “a housewife” who tried to manipulate Rakesh Bapat against his affair with Shamita Shetty, whom he had earlier claimed to be his “best friend”.
“Divya is a very rude woman. She is completely fake and double-faced. She thinks that she has won a reality show so she will easily win it too. In fact, she thinks that she has already won Bigg Boss. Her only job is to impress and woo the men in every reality show. She knows that by doing all this she will gain popularity.”
Urfi has previously worked on shows like Chandra Nandini, Meri Durga, Saat Phero Ki Hera Pherie, Bepannaah, Kasautii Zindagi Kay and Jiji Maa.
