In an interaction with News18, Muskan talks about her hopes and strategies for saying yes to the reality show as well. “I am feeling very excited. I think I will be nervous when I am inside the show. For now I am excited for the fun part of it. I am not really scared,” Muskaan said.

Talking about the reason behind her participation, she said, “I think about a lot of things in my real life, there are things for which I have answers, which I don’t really keep online. So I think, if people see me in my real life, they will see how upset I am for people being harassed by me. I think young people will have a feeling that in life you can make mistakes. If there are things that may seem like mistakes to others but not to you, that’s okay too. It has happened so many times that people have said that I did something wrong and I know I didn’t. So if they see more of me in my real life, they’ll realize that I just have confidence in myself and know what I’ve done. So I thought it was a good way, because it will be live 24X7, they will see that I am a good person.”

The new format of the show, which allows the viewers to watch the contestants live 24X7. When asked if she feels comfortable in front of cameras, she said, “I am a very quiet person 24X7 in real life. When I was a kid, I honestly thought there is another universe, in which when people are born, their life plays out in a theatre. That’s how I’ve been involved in my life. It’s something I’ve practiced. I’ve always thought I deserve to be seen. That’s why I get nervous in front of the cameras I am not.”

The influencer also talked about her game-plan or the strategy that she will take indoors. “My biggest game plan is to be myself. This is a very simple, non-complicated answer. Because if I’m not going to be myself, no one will be myself. And ‘I’ will be lost. Also, I’m not smart enough to manipulate people. My mom says I’m too simple, and I should think and speak. But I can’t really do that and I’m not good at it, so it doesn’t make any sense.”

Every year in the show, the producers gather an interesting group of participants. When asked if she is wary of the competition, Muskan said, “There has never been an interesting contestant in Bigg Boss till now. Seriously, I don’t think there is any competition. We are not really told that There is speculation online as to who the contestants are. I think a lot of them are wrong. But even if some of the speculations are true, seriously speaking, I haven’t really found any that are interesting to me. . I really hope that when I meet them, they are fun, loving and understanding.”

Muskan also revealed that she is not a fan of the show. “I have not seen Bigg Boss. I know some things happen, in the sense that I watched episode four of last season. But then a guy started talking nonsense and I got flustered and decided it was better not to watch it. In my own season, I’ll only be triggered, so what’s the point of watching it? I know the format, that you really have to put yourself out there. You don’t have to be shy, but you have to be there and see what your priorities are. If you have to win a task, you have to win the task, end of conversation.”

The best actors of Bigg Boss OTT will compete in the television version of the show. When asked what are her hopes of appearing in Bigg Boss 15, she said, “I’ll know when I go inside the house. Seriously, I can go there and feel, ‘Oh that’s tough’ And it’s not for me.’ I am not saying that Bigg Boss is not for me or it is bad, I am saying that Bigg Boss is not my way of living. So I will go there and find out. Some people are made for reality TV and some people are made for reality TV. No. Like my friend and favorite comedian Varun Grover, I respect him a lot but he will never do Bigg Boss. It’s because we are good at different things. That’s why I feel if I go on the show I’ll get an idea whether I enjoy it or not, is it worth moving to another. Even if I haven’t been eliminated, it’s all a process, I guess.”

If Bigg Boss is not her way of living, then why is she participating in the show? “It’s a challenge. This year has been challenging. There are so many challenges mentally and emotionally. There are so many things where I’ve had to take a stand for myself and say no, you have to deal with it. It (Big Boss) will only be the nail in the coffin. It’s the most challenging thing in India. The most drama and pressure. It’s something I have to move on and say to myself, ‘If you get over this, this is it. Good’,” she signed.

Bigg Boss OTT will premiere on Voot on August 8, 2020.
