Actress and Instagram influencer Urfi Javed was the first elimination on the digital chapter of the reality show Bigg Boss OTT this year. The show started a week back with 13 contestants and Urfi became the first contestant to exit the show on Sunday. She was nominated along with Rakesh Bapat and Shamita Shetty, who were saved by audience votes.
Urfi is a television actress known for her roles in Bade Bhaiya Ki Dulhania, Meri Durga, Bepannaah and Kasautii Zindagii Kay. Hailing from Lucknow, Urfi started her career in 2016 by playing the role of Avni Pant in Sony TV’s show Bade Bhaiya Ki Dulhania, which starred Priyanshu Jora and Namita Dubey. The 25-year-old has since appeared on several television shows one after the other. Her latest appearance was as Tanisha Chakraborty in the reboot of Kasautii Zindagii Kay starring Erica Fernandes and Parth Samthaan. He is also a popular influencer on Instagram.
Before entering the show, the actress told News18 about her hopes of appearing in the TV show Bigg Boss 15. “I want to win the television version. That’s what I expect from the show. Now that I am going inside the house, definitely I will not lower my expectations. The hope is to win the show,” she said.

Their elimination happened at the end of a dramatic episode, during which Karan Johar lashed out at the contestants and their attitude about the show. Divya Agarwal, Prateek Sahajpal and Rakesh Bapat were in the line of fire as Karan questioned each and every behavior of theirs on the show.
