Bigg Boss 16 Grand Finale: Shalin Bhanot Fails To Make It To Top 4, Here’s How His Family Prepares For His Return

Shalin Bhanot is the first contestant to be eliminated from the five finalists of Bigg Boss 16! The actors have failed to make it to the final 4 list. The actor left behind her fellow finalists – Priyanka Chahar Chowdhary, MC Steyn, Archana Gautam and Shiv Thackeray. The actor got the least number of votes due to which he was evicted from the show. Now pictures of Shalin’s house decoration are going viral on social media. The actor’s family put up posters of Shaleen inside the house to welcome them home.

Talking about her journey, Shaleen has had a roller-coaster ride inside the Bigg Boss 16 house. One of the more controversial contestants of this season, the actor made a grand entrance but was soon dismissed for not being a finalist-worthy contestant – owing to his affable nature and numerous gags. The actor also raised waves for his association with Tina Dutta, age-difference in his ‘friendship’ with Sumbul Touqueer Khan as well as mental health crisis inside the show.

His association with Gautam Vij also became an important part of the journey. However, that association fell apart when Gautam was ousted weeks later. A few weeks after Gautam’s expulsion. Linked to both Shalin Sumbul and Tina Dutta, the two women were seen teasing each other. Within weeks, Tina’s entry in Shalin and Sumbul’s friendship created a lot of ruckus. Soon, internal bickering became common to all three, with Sumbul’s father admonishing Shaleen for being insensitive and even warning his daughter against befriending the actor. They would go inside the house to end their association.

One of the biggest issues raised by Shaleen in the trip was her demand for chicken with every meal. The actor claimed that it was a doctor prescribed requirement which should be fulfilled by the makers of the show. This created a lot of resentment among the other contestants – mainly Archana – who claimed that it was just a ploy by the actor.

Perhaps one of the most controversial things this season has been the relationship status between Shalin and Tina. While both the contestants seemed very close to each other, they were reluctant to give it a name.

While Priyanka was one of the first co-contestants to show support to Shaleen after Tina’s eviction, their association was short-lived with Shaleen deciding to turn to the troupe. During this, Salman scolded the actor for over acting.

The actor, during the course of the show, felt bullied by the contestants and slipped into depression, urging the makers to release him. However, the congregation came out in his support.

At present, Shalin is out of the race for the winner of Bigg Boss 16. But he has an offer for Rohit Shetty’s show Fear Factor Khatron Ke Khiladi 13. Reportedly, the actor has also been offered a new show titled Bekaboo.
