After Bigg Boss 16, former contestants Ankit Gupta and Gautam Vig are all set to entertain us with their upcoming show ‘Junooniyat’. The story of Junooniyat revolves around Elahi, Jahaan and Jordan based in the backdrop of Punjab. The makers have released a three-part promo where the lead characters talk about a music competition, and why they want to win it. Sargun Mehta and Ravi Dubey’s production house Dreamitya Entertainment Pvt Ltd is back with yet another brand new show.
Ankit Gupta who played the role of Fateh in the drama series ‘Udariyaan’ has become a household name. Ankit Gupta and Priyanka Chahar Chowdhary will be fondly remembered as Fateh and Tejo. Their love story is definitely epic but it has a bitter-sweet happy ending.
The first promo shared by the team features Neha Rana which begins with her melodious voice and she is heard saying that her mother had to leave her home because she wanted to sing, and now that talent will bring her back home . She enters a contest, believing that if she wins it, her mother will return.
The second promo features Gautam Singh Vig who plays Jordan. A rich boy who wants to make a name for himself in the field of singing, but his father believes that there are many singers like him, however, Jordan feels that no one is as passionate as him. He enters a competition thinking that he will prove his father wrong.
The third promo is of Ankit Gupta’s Jahaan. His entry is quite filmy as it has been shot amidst mustard fields. He calls his words his strength and his voice his faith. He is sure that by winning the competition, he will get the respect that his parents have lost due to some situation.
Ankit’s reunion with fellow Bigg Boss 16 contestants has definitely got fans excited. While not much has been revealed about the plot of the show, it looks like a love triangle, but we can know more only once the show goes live.
