Bigg Boss 16 Day 122 Highlights: Shiv Thakare, MC Stan and Sumbul Touqeer Get Nominated

Bigg Boss 16’s nomination special in the house puts the contestants in a tight spot and it all becomes a game of luck and fortune instead of harboring grudges against each other. The contestants are confused when Bigg Boss informs them that each contestant will have to count in their head for nine minutes and the contestant closest to the actual nine minutes will win the task and be safe from elimination. The housemates think it is an easy task until Bigg Boss informs them that there is a twist and reveals that they will be interviewed by a special host – Ken Ferns who will show them some comments from the audience. This nomination special was not as smooth sailing as the contestants holding on to their fate. Here’s a breakdown of the episodes:

The episode begins with Archana Gautam trying to make amends with Nimrit Kaur Ahluwalia after they quarreled with each other over Chapati. Nimrit also says sorry for using abusive words for Archana. She then asks him for tea, but the Choti Sarrdaarni actress denies it.

Bigg Boss asks the contestants to form teams for the nomination round. Nimrit survives the process as she is the captain of the house. After this, the contestants are asked “What time is it?” Are cards given with messages? minutes, will win the round and the losing team will be nominated. Archana goes first and learns about the positive comments by netizens on social media, she becomes extra happy. Thereafter, Archana decides on her finale dress with Ken Ferns, and then she realizes that her 9 minutes are over. After this, Shalin is called for the task. Shalin is also shown to have some positive comments about himself, with Kane complementing his style and appreciating his game. Meanwhile, Archana gossips about Shiv Thackeray being under stress with Priyanka. to enroll. Next, Sumbul is called by Bigg Boss to participate in the task. He is focused on the task and is counting 9 minutes on his fingers. At the same time, Archana and Shalin have a small fight. She takes fashion advice from Ken. He also tells her that she is known for her dance moves and crying. He advised her to experiment with her outfits. Shiva then steps forward and starts counting. Ken removes her diamond necklace after feeling complicated by Stan’s jewellery. He then gives Fern advice on which dress she would like to wear. After this Priyanka is called for the task. She has been receiving a lot of praise on social media from fans as well as from Kane. After this, Priyanka patiently listens to Ken, to which Bigg Boss interrupts and asks if he has anything to say. The actress says she wants to get information about Kane outside. Following this, Priyanka discusses her fashion choices with Ken, after which she walks out.

At the end of the process, Nimrit is asked to go to the activity area to seek advice on her fashion choices. She is feeling blessed with the love she has received from fans on social media. She walks out after a short chit-chat with Ken. Bigg Boss then informs the time of the contestants. In the end, Sumbul is announced with 18 minutes to lose the troupe including Archana, Shaleen and Priyanka to the other team. We see Archana celebrating the win and confirming the finale with her dance on a Punjabi song. On the other hand, Shaleen couldn’t believe that he has made it to the finale and requested Bigg Boss to confirm it.

The episode ends with Sumbul getting emotional and locking herself in the washroom. At first, Nimrit comes to talk to her and later Shiva and MC Stan also join in. Next, Nimrit makes a point of taking extra time for the task. The episode ends with Archana Gautam commenting about Shaleen not believing the fact that she has made it to the finals, and calls her a gimmick.
