New Delhi: The popular television reality show Bigg Boss commenced its fifteenth season on Sunday, January 30. Tejasswi Prakash and Pratik Sehajpal were the finalists, fighting for the winning trophy. The show’s host Salman Khan has finally announced the winner by lifting up the hand of Tejasswi on the stage.
Bigg Boss 15 aired on Colors TV on October 2, 2021. After 120 days of gruelling drama, the reality show finally came to an end with television actress Tejasswi Prakash bagging the winning trophy and a cash prize of Rs.40lakhs. Finalists Karan Kundrra and Pratik Sehajpal were in the winning league. With Tejasswi emerging as the winner, Pratik ended up being the runner-up.
The winner has a huge fan following and had a strong game strategy during the show. On bagging the coveted title and the trophy, Tejasswi thanked her parents, the show’s host Salman Khan and the audience for voting for her.
Tejasswi’s boyfriend and one of the finalists Karan Kundrra, rooted for her win as he himself got evicted after making it to the Top 3. Shamita Shetty had got evicted after making it to the Top 4.
Tejasswi was loved by the audience for her drama. She also received a lot of bashing by ex-Bigg Boss contestants and celebrities for age-shaming co-contestant Shamita Shetty and getting possessive over Shamita’s closeness with her boyfriend Karan.
Along with bagging the Bigg Boss 15 trophy and a cash prize of Rs.40 lakhs, Tejasswi has also bagged Ekta Kapoor’s supernatural drama ‘Naagin 6’, in which she would be seen essaying the role of the protagonist as a Naagin. The makers revealed her face in the grand finale episode.
