Sunday’s Bigg Boss 15 finale turned out to be a real nail-biter when it comes to votes, but finally, Bigg Boss Ek Khiladi BB managed to create history. While Tejashwi Prakash was declared as the winner of Bigg Boss 15, Prateek Sahajpal secured the second position. Even though Prateek was unable to grab the trophy, he won countless hearts across the country despite being the “most targeted” and “misunderstood” contestant inside the house.
“When Salman Khan took me to the area where my mother and sister Prerna were sitting, my heart was not ready to believe that I was not in the top 2. My mother was constantly comforting me and telling me , ‘You are the winner. For us.’ I was just praying to God and I closed my eyes.But suddenly I heard a loud voice of production crew and all the contestants sitting there started cheering and then Salman Bhai once again came to bring me back on stage And that’s when I couldn’t hold back my tears. To be able to stand alongside Salman Khan on the stage of Bigg Boss finale was a very, very, very emotional moment for me. It was my dream,” Prateek told us.
Prateek’s journey in this show which lasted for almost four months was very turbulent. He had massive fights with his co-contestants Umar Riaz and Karan Kundra, who was also his mentor at MTV Love School. During the show, Karan once held Prateek’s neck in his arms and even slammed him on the ground, for which Karan faced a lot of criticism on social media. Even host Salman Khan had warned him for his violent behavior against Prateek.
On the other hand, Umar was kicked out of the reality show for violating the house rules and getting into a physical fight with Prateek. When asked if he will move on from what happened on the show and befriend Umar and Karan outside the house, Prateek said, “I have no complaints with Karan bhai. In fact, I have no complaints against anyone on this show. We react and act according to certain situations inside the house. We would not behave or react like this to the outside world. I have always said that Karan Kundra is not a bad person. I have been in touch with him for over three years and I have worked with him so I know for a fact that he is not like that. Whatever happened, shouldn’t have happened, but to be honest, I have nothing against him in my heart.”
