In the latest captaincy task given by Bigg Boss, we see the housemates reveal each other’s secrets and oust them from the race to be the captain. By the end of the round, Umar Riaz and Misha Iyer become the top contenders for the new captain at home.
After this Bigg Boss announced a new task for the two contenders. This task is related to the housewives receiving Diwali gifts sent by their families. However, there is a catch; Only Umar and Misha can decide whether their fellow contestants can open gifts from their families or not. If they give their presents to the family members then both will have to give up their fuel rods.
Everyone requests both the claimants to give them their gifts. Shamita Shetty goes to give gifts to Umar and Misha, but they refuse. Tejashwi also keeps insisting for gifts, but he does not budge. Karan is also turned down when he asks for his gift, which makes Tejashwi even more annoyed.
Later, Tejashwi breaks down after being turned down and says, “Dil nahi hai people mein!” Jai, meanwhile, folds his hands and asks both of them to give their gifts and says, “Get it, I will never forget this favor! I really need it.” Her prayers are answered, and she finally receives a gift from her family.
Jai then sits in a corner and eagerly opens his present. To his absolute delight, this is a frame bearing the name of his daughter Tara, created from a collage of their family photos. Jai is overwhelmed and breaks down, showing a glimpse of how much he misses his family. Among his gifts are his daughter’s clothes and shoes, and a sheet with a message that read, “Papa, love you!” Jai’s unacceptable reaction is enough to prove that he couldn’t ask for a better Diwali gift than this.
In the end, we see Umar go ahead with a fuel and become the next captain of the house.
