Big drop in new cases of Corona: New cases decreased by 91% compared to peak of second wave, recovery rate reached 96.9%

Now there are only 111 districts in the country where more than 100 cases are coming every day.

Corona virus cases in the country have come down by 91% from the peak of the second wave. There has been a steady decrease in new cases for the last few weeks. In many districts, the infection has reduced rapidly. Joint Secretary of the Ministry of Health, Luv Aggarwal gave this information in a press conference on the situation in Corona. He told that the recovery rate has been 96.9%.

He told that in the districts where more than 100 new cases were coming every day, on May 4, there were 531 such districts. Now their number has come down to 262 on June 2. Now there are only 111 districts where more than 100 cases are coming every day.

More than 100 million doses of vaccine were administered in June
According to the Ministry of Health, a total of 8.99 crore vaccine doses were given in the country in April. 6.1 crore doses have been given in May and 10.75 crore doses have been given so far in June. After the new guidelines of vaccination, an average of 57.68 lakh doses are being administered daily.
