Punjab government has taken a big decision for NRIs. Quick response call centers will be set up to remove the difficulties faced by them. Where all their problems will be solved through just one phone call. State NRI Affairs Minister Pargat Singh gave this information. He said that this call center will run round the clock everyday.

He said that sometimes NRIs are stopped after landing at the airport due to paperwork, technical reasons or some misunderstanding. So they get scared. Even if the documents are correct, they have trouble. Those sitting in this center will be expert in such problems. Which will remove the problems of Punjabis living abroad. Call center numbers will be made public soon.

Certificate can be obtained from Seva or Sanjh Kendra

Apart from this, people wishing to go abroad now have to come to Chandigarh for certificate verification. In view of this, they will get this facility sitting at home. For this, the government will prepare an online medium. After applying online, applicants will be able to collect certificates from the Sanjh or Suvidha Kendras near their homes.

Minister Pargat Singh said that NRIs also face a lot of problems regarding land-property, marriage related disputes. There is also a delay in solving them. For this, his department will coordinate with the police and revenue department. For which one officer will be appointed in each district. Which will help NRIs by synergy.
