Eknath Shinde’s supporters took to the streets in Thane, Maharashtra on Monday. The protesters burnt the effigy of Shiv Sena MP Sanjay Raut in protest against his remarks against the rebel MLAs.
Earlier on Sunday, Raut gave a veiled warning to the rebel Shiv Sena MLAs saying that their soul is dead and only their bodies will return to Mumbai.
“When they step outside [of Guwahati], they will not be alive by heart. They know what can happen in the fire that is now on.”
