Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann alleged in the Assembly on Friday that the Center had demanded Rs 7.50 crore in return for sending the army after the Pathankot terror attack. Mann said- I was an MP at that time. When I came to know about this, I met Defense Minister Rajnath Singh regarding MP Sadhu Singh.

Mann further said- I told them to deduct this amount from our MP LAD fund, but give it to us in writing that we had given army on rent to Punjab. Punjab is not a part of the country. First of all, gunshots hit our chest. After this the Defense Minister did not take that money.

Terrorist attack happened in 2016, 8 soldiers were martyred
There was a terrorist attack on the Pathankot airbase on 2 January 2016. Which was carried out by armed terrorists who came in the uniform of the Indian Army. 7 soldiers were martyred in this attack. It was revealed in the investigation that all the terrorists had come to the India-Pakistan border through the Ravi river. After reaching India, the terrorists hijacked some vehicles. Through these, he reached the Pathankot airbase. After this the army came and killed 5 terrorists.
