Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 Box Office Collection: Kartik Aaryan rules theatres; Defeat Anek, Dhaakad and Top Gun Maverick

Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 Box Office Collection: The spooky adventures of Kartik Aaryan, Kiara Advani and Tabu have been entertaining the audience ever since its release. It has broken many records at the box office and has won Kangana Ranaut Not only this starrer ‘Dhaakad’, but the film has also managed to beat the recently released films- Ayushmann Khurrana’s ‘Anek’ and Tom Cruise’s Top Gun Maverick. The Hollywood film showed a slight edge on Saturday after the work of mouth review but the Anubhav Sinha directorial was slow. Leaving little hope for the second and third days, it collected only ₹2.11 crore at the box office on the first day. Talking about Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2, it still remains the first choice of many people. On the second Saturday, the film collected around Rs. 11.25 – Rs. 11.35 crore netted and officially entered into Rs. 100 crore net club.

Coming to Top Gun Maverick, the film showed a growth of almost 80 per cent on Saturday and earned Rs 4.5 crore, which is obviously a big relief for the exhibitors and distributors. The Ayushmann starrer socio-political action drama turned out to be disappointing and did not make much headway on Saturday. As per the predictions, it mined in the range of Rs 2-3 crore. This is Ayushmann’s second film after Chandigarh Kare Aashiqui to collect less in the opening weekend.

A report in BoxofficeIndia said, “The film has had the lowest opening of all the major releases in 2022 except Badhaai Ho, Jhund and Dhaakad, in which the last name is the worst this year. The minor plus will probably be the Assam circuit in which North East And he can do better but he will probably be a few lakhs extra.”

Further, the report added, “Top Gun Maverick has also not been able to make much of an impact in India as the collections in the first two days have been poor, though it should do better than many.”
