During a program in Ballia, Bhojpuri star Pawan Singh was attacked with stones. The attack happened on Monday night. The uproar took place over the demand for singing on a particular caste. Pawan refused to sing that song and after that someone threw a stone at him.

A huge crowd turned up to listen to Pawan and Shilpi and adequate police force was deployed at the venue to maintain law and order.
After the collision, Pawan Singh challenged the attacker from the stage itself and asked him to come forward. After this, the supporters created a ruckus at the venue. The police dispersed the crowd using mild force. The incident is of Kawai village in Nagra area, where the Bhojpuri star had come to perform.
Pawan Singh got down from the stage after the attack. The bouncer accompanying him also left the spot. During this, the police present there and the organizers of the program had to use mild force, after which the situation became normal.
