Actress Bhavana Menon is all set to make a comeback on the big screen after five years with the film ‘Nthikkakkoru Premondorn’. The film will be directed by debutant director Adil Maimoonath Ashraf, who has also written and edited the film. Produced by Renish Abdulkhadar, “Ntikkkkoru Premondern” also stars Sharaf U Dheen. Menon, 35, shared the announcement of the film on Instagram. The actor, known for Malayalam films such as “Nammal”, “Ozhimuri” and “Evade”, wrote alongside the film’s poster, “Going soon – Nthikakkakoru Premondarn”.

The 2017 film “Adam Zone”, was Menon’s last Malayalam project.

The actress returns to her home turf after five years with “Nittikkkoru Premondarn”, when she was abducted inside a car and sexually assaulted for two hours, allegedly by some accused, who was forced into the vehicle and later I ran away in a busy area of ​​Kochi.

Some of the accused filmed the entire acting to blackmail the actress. There are 10 accused in the case. The police initially arrested seven people. Popular star Dileep, the eighth accused, was later arrested and later released on bail. He has said that he is innocent.

Earlier this month, Menon spoke about her suffering in front of the camera for the first time, saying that she now identifies herself as a survivor and not a victim.

The actress, who has also acted in Tamil, Telugu and Kannada films, shaming the victim and criticizing her. “I am no longer a victim. In the same interview, Menon said that she was offered work by Malayalam filmmakers like Aashiq Abu, Prithviraj Sukumaran and Jayasuriya, but she turned them down “because I couldn’t come back to this industry and work.” It was as if nothing had happened”.

She said, “I was not in the right state of mind. I worked in other language films. Now, I have started listening to Malayalam scripts as well.”

Since 2017, Menon has starred in Kannada titles such as “99” and “Inspector Vikram”.
