Bhavnagar Doctor Blackmailed For ₹10cr With Obscene Clips | Rajkot News – Times of India

Rajkot: At least six people were booked for allegedly trying to extort a huge sum of money from a Bhavnagar-based doctor by blackmailing him with his intimate videos with a woman who is one of the accused.
Bor Talav police station sources said that an offence was lodged by Dr Dalpat Kataria who runs four hospitals including one each in Talaja, Surat and Mahuva.
Police have booked Kajal Patel of Ahmedabad, Vijay Bharwad and Mahavirsinh Gohil and three unidentified persons.
Police said that Dr Kataria had met Kajal in Surat and the other accused shot videos of their intimate moments. The gang then started blackmailing him and demanded Rs two crore and then Rs 10 crore.
A sarpanch of a village in Talaja taluka is reportedly the main conspirator, but police said they are yet to investigate his role.
All have been booked under relevant IPC sections including criminal conspiracy and extortion. The three persons named in the FIR have been rounded up, police said.
