In his viral video, he is giving a fatwa to behead Nupur Sharma and saying that whoever does this will hand over his house to her. Salman Chishti has also been a history sheeter of Dargah Police Station. The question arises that who makes such a history-sheeter as the Khadim of the holy shrine and why? However, late night the police arrested him.

The police are yet to arrest those who made provocative statements from the Nizami Gate of Ajmer Dargah. Whereas, the police claimed to have identified him.
