Former Prime Minister Rajiv Gandhi assassination convict AG Perarivalan has got bail from the Supreme Court. He was sentenced to life imprisonment by the court. “He has spent 32 years in jail, we are of the view that he should be released on bail,” the court said. Earlier AG Perarivalan had filed a petition in the Supreme Court. In the petition, he said that the order of the Tamil Nadu government to release him is not being approved by the Governor and the Central Government. 6 people are still in jail in the case.

Car collided with truck breaking divider in Etawah, five injured
A painful accident took place on Wednesday afternoon in Saifai police station area of Etawah. An Artika car collided with DCM near Nagla Rathore village, killing 5 people in the car, while 5 were injured. The police, who reached the information of the accident, admitted the injured to Saifai Medical College. Out of which 3 have been kept on ventilator. SC adjourns hearing against Vijay Mallya till Thursday

IHearing in the Supreme Court against fugitive Vijay Mallya, accused of bank corruption, has been postponed till Thursday. Mallya’s lawyer Jaideep Gupta had sought the Supreme Court to adjourn the hearing of the matter citing busyness in another case, which was accepted by the court. Mallya is facing contempt of court case.
Blast in Jammu and Kashmir’s Udhampur; 1 killed, 14 injured
A bomb blast took place near the District Court Complex at Salathia Chowk in Udhampur, Jammu and Kashmir. Doctors informed that 1 has died in the blast, 14 are still injured. Udhampur SSP Vinod Kumar has reached the spot with defections. The case is being investigated.

LIC’s IPO gets approval from SEBI
LIC has got approval from SEBI for IPO. The government will sell its 5% stake in LIC. The government will raise 63 thousand crores from the country’s largest IPO. In the application given by LIC to SEBI, it has been said that the government will sell 31 crore shares of the company. In the IPO, 10% share will be reserved for the policy holders. The government has 100% stake or 632.49 crore shares in LIC. This will be the biggest IPO in the history of the country. Earlier Paytm had brought the biggest IPO of 18300 crores in 2021. At the second number was the IPO of Coal India in 2010. The company had raised around Rs 15500 crore at that time. At number three was Reliance Power’s IPO of Rs 11700 crore in 2008. read full news
Volcano erupts lava in Guatemala
Lava and ash began to rise again from the Volcano of Fire in Escuintla, Guatemala. Lava and ash began to flow rapidly down the slope. Due to this, about 500 people had to be shifted from there to a safe place. The incident happened at 3 am on Tuesday. The rescued people were taken to shelters in the nearby town of Escuintla. This place was also destroyed in 2018 due to volcano. Then 194 people had died. The Volcano of Fire is one of the most active volcanoes in Central America.

Hundreds of SP workers reached the counting site in Agra: Hare-Krishna sankirtans throughout the night by playing dholak and manjire

PM Modi spoke to the PM of Netherlands
PM Narendra Modi discussed the situation arising out of the ongoing war between Ukraine and Russia with the Prime Minister of the Netherlands, Mark Rutte. The two also shared their concerns over the humanitarian crisis in Ukraine caused by the war. Modi once again reiterated India’s appeal to both the countries to end the conflict and return to the path of dialogue and diplomacy. During this, Prime Minister Modi welcomed the ongoing delegation-level talks between Russia and Ukraine and expressed hope that a solution would be found soon. Modi apprised Root of the progress of the operation being carried out for the safe evacuation of Indians from the war zone. Along with this, he also informed about the delivery of necessary relief materials including medicines from India to the affected people there. During this, Prime Minister Modi also invited Root to come to India.
