Mamta Banerjee will start the election campaign on Wednesday by addressing a gathering of workers from Ahindra Manch in Chetla.

West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee will start campaigning from today. By-polls to three seats are due in Bengal on September 30. Mamta is in the fray from Bhabanipur. Election Commission has given green signal for by-election to Bhabanipur assembly seat. Voting will be held here on 30 September and counting of votes will take place on 3 October. Apart from this, voting will also be held in Samserganj, Jangipur in Bengal and Pipli seats in Odisha. In the elections held in April-May, Mamata was defeated by BJP’s Shubhendu Adhikari. Shubhendu had won from Nandigram seat. After this, Mamta is contesting the by-election from Bhabanipur seat. He has to win this election to remain the Chief Minister.
