CBI registers two cases, searches 14 places after former LG Satyapal Malik’s allegations of corruption

The CBI on Thursday registered two cases in connection with the probe into allegations of corruption by former Jammu and Kashmir LG Satya Pal Malik. This case has been registered in relation to corruption in award of contract for the work of Employees Health Care Scheme and Kuru Hydro Power Project. Former LG Satyapal Malik had accused them of corruption. After registering the case, the CBI conducted searches on the premises of the accused at 14 places in Jammu, Srinagar, Delhi, Mumbai, Noida, Trivandrum in Kerala and Darbhanga in Bihar.
