Ram Rahim’s strange demands continue even after being sentenced to life imprisonment in the murder of Ranjit Singh. During the hearing, Ram Rahim sought permission to make a video message in the jail.

Ram Rahim said, ‘I am a great philanthropist. I have got rid of the intoxication of lakhs of people. So allow me to make videos of my sermons inside the jail and give messages of charity to my millions and crores of devotees.

On this demand of Ram Rahim, the judge said, ‘My work was till today in this case. The prisoner is a matter of the state and is guided by the prison manual. Any decision in this regard can be taken only by the jail authority or the state government. With this the judge rejected the demand.

Threatening letter to CBI judge
Special CBI Judge Sushil Garg, who is hearing the Ranjit Singh murder case against Ram Rahim, has been threatened by writing a letter. The CBI judge said this during the hearing of Ram Rahim’s case.

Ram Rahim had appeared on Monday from Rohtak’s Sunaria jail through video conferencing, during which Panchkula’s CBI Judge Sushil Garg told Ram Rahim, ‘I have been written a letter. Some Mohit Gupta has threatened by writing a letter. I cannot tell what has been written.

Ram Rahim said – there should be a CBI inquiry into the letter
On this Ram Rahim told the judge, ‘I have nothing to do with Mohit Gupta. He had done this before as well. Then the High Court had also imposed a fine of Rs. I request that this letter be probed by CBI. The demand of Ram Rahim was also supported by CBI’s counsel HPS Verma and defense counsel Ajay Burman. However, the judge has not made any recommendation in this regard.

Judge sentenced life imprisonment
In Ranjit Singh murder case, CBI judge sentenced 5 convicts including Ram Rahim to life imprisonment. Apart from Ram Rahim in this case, the names of the other four convicts are Jasbir, Avtar, Krishna Lal and Sabdil. Along with this, a fine of Rs 31 lakh has also been imposed on Ram Rahim, out of which Rs 30 lakh will be given to Ranjit’s family.

The remaining four convicts have also been fined Rs 50,000 each. Ram Rahim has also been sentenced to life imprisonment in the journalist Ramchandra Chhatrapati murder case. Apart from this, Ram Rahim has also been sentenced to 10 years in the sexual abuse case of two sadhvis.
