Bhaskar Breaking: JEE Main and NEET exam will not be postponed, JEE Advanced brochure released without schedule; Examination will be held in 9 cities of Rajasthan

IIT Kharagpur has released the information brochure for JEE Advanced. It has been told that the date of examination, process of registration, counseling schedule will be released later. One thing has become clear from this that this year JEE Main exam will not be canceled under any circumstances. In Rajasthan this exam will be held in 9 cities. It includes Ajmer, Alwar, Bikaner, Jaipur, Jodhpur, Kota, Sikar, Sri Ganganagar and Udaipur.

Application fee for female candidates is Rs 1400
The application fee for Female, SC-ST and Divyang candidates has been kept at Rs 1400. At the same time, the application fee for all other categories will be Rs 2800. At least 2.5 lakh students will qualify for JEE Main to JEE Advanced this year. In case of a tie, this number may increase.

Foreign candidates can register directly
A total of 1 lakh 1 thousand 250 from open category, 25000 from General EWS i.e. economically weaker general category, total 67500 from OBC category, 37500 from SC and 18750 students from ST will be able to get eligibility for advance. Foreign candidates will not be required to appear for JEE Main for Advance. They can directly register for the advance.

Certificate required after April 1 for EWS
As per the information given in the brochure, the list of documents will require 10th and 12th mark sheet as well as certificate for reserved category. For EWS and OBC NCL category, the certificate will be valid only on or after April 1, 2021.

more dates revised
Along with the dates of JEE Advanced, the dates for Architecture Aptitude Test will also be revised. IIT Kharagpur has released the brochure ahead of schedule so that students can get the relevant documents ready in advance. This will not cause any problem while filling the form.

Postponed session dates yet to be announced
On the basis of JEE Main score, students will qualify for Advanced. There have been two sessions of JEE Main this year and two sessions have been postponed in view of the second wave of corona virus. The new dates for both the postponed JEE Main sessions are yet to be announced.
