Bharti Singh didn’t realise she was pregnant for 2.5 months, says ‘mote logon ka pata nahi chalta’

‘Laughter Queen’ Bharti Singh and Harsh Limbachiyaa are expecting their first child. Through a special vlog, the couple announced that they are pregnant. Now, Bharti, who is all set to embrace motherhood, revealed how she came to know about her pregnancy for the first time. The actress claimed that because of her weight, she did not know that she was pregnant for 2.5 months. This news came as a surprise to the couple as they were not planning a child at that time.

Talking to Pinkvilla, Bharti Singh revealed, “When I got pregnant, I didn’t even realize it for two and a half months. Fat people don’t know. I am eating food, shooting, running here and there on Dance Deewane. I thought let’s check it once. When I did, I put down the test and came out. When I went back and saw two lines, I told Harsh about it. So it was a surprise to us. We didn’t plan that it was the right time to have a baby.”

Well, the would-be parents are sure to enjoy every moment of their beautiful new journey. Earlier, Bharti, who is currently hosting the talent reality show Hunarbaaz with Harsh, said that she is proud to be able to work during her pregnancy. She called herself ‘India’s first pregnant anchor’ and revealed that she wants to normalize the concept of women continuing to work during pregnancy.

“It’s my first day on a shoot after getting pregnant. I’m excited and worried at the same time. You know how when you expect your family to support you, how you expect them to be, ‘Yes, go. But be careful.’ I scared me and told me to be careful about tripping on set, or slipping, or accidentally getting hit by someone. Mothers scare you.
