Ramamurthynagar Police have arrested two persons for drug smuggling and recovered 29 grams of charas and 35 MDMA tablets from them.

Police said that they had received information about the arrival of B Channasandra to sell narcotics on November 18. a team led by an inspector Melvin Francis reached the spot. Seeing the police, the miscreants tried to run away, but were arrested.
The two reportedly confessed to their crime and informed the police that they had purchased the drug from a supplier who had come from Goa.
Police have also recovered one thousand rupees and a scooter from them.
