The BJP leadership has already spoken against the ruling Trinamool Congress over the post-poll violence in Bengal. Even the central BJP leadership has attacked the ruling party several times, citing the National Human Rights Commission’s inquiry report.

This time the BJP has adopted a new tactic keeping in mind the issue of post-poll violence. The leaders explained this strategy in a meeting with all the MPs of West Bengal in Delhi. Apart from BJP state president Dilip Ghosh and general secretaries Amitabh Chakraborty, Kailash Vijayvargiya, Shiv Prakash and Amit Malvira met all the MPs organized at the Constitution Club of Delhi.

According to BJP sources, all BJP MPs and MLAs along with four Union ministers elected from West Bengal will visit the homes of the slain BJP workers in the coming days as part of the Ashirwad Yatra. The MPs will have to report the feedback received from the affected areas to the central leadership and boost the morale of the people there.

The BJP plans to start a political journey with four Union ministers from different parts of the state in the coming days. Dilip Ghosh told News18 in this regard that “four people from Bengal have got seats in the Union Cabinet. There are plans to go with them to the families of the killed BJP workers in every area, as the people of Bengal will bless them.”

On the other hand, Trinamool MP Sukhendu Shekhar Roy made fun of BJP’s political journey. “We think BJP is a drama party. They do not understand the judgment of the people. Many of our workers were also killed during the elections. At that time, the Election Commission was in charge of police administration. The whole thing is just politicization.”
