‘Be Strong My Brother’: Harbhajan Singh And Others Condole Shoaib Akhtar’s Mother’s Demise

Pakistan’s great fast bowler Shoaib Akhtar’s mother passed away on Sunday morning. The former cricketer took to his official Twitter handle to inform about the death of his mother. According to the report of Pakistan’s Geo News, Shoaib’s mother was taken to the hospital after her health deteriorated. However, she did not survive.

Akhtar said on Twitter, “My mother, my everything, by the will of Allah Ta’ala, has left for abode in heaven. Funeral prayers will be held in Sector H-8, Islamabad.”

Cricket fraternity also took to social media and paid tribute to the departed soul. Shoaib Malik, experienced all-rounder of Pakistan said, ‘We are all with you brother in this difficult time. May God grant him the highest position in Jannath.”

Former India off-spinner Harbhajan Singh also wrote on Twitter, “Just wanted to reach out and let you know that my heartfelt condolences during this difficult time. May she rest in peace. Be strong my brother. May Waheguru do mehr.”
