Cricket Association of Bengal secretary Snehasish Ganguly was rushed to the hospital late in the night after vomiting started.

Former India captain Sourav Ganguly’s elder brother Snehasish was admitted to the hospital late on Friday night. Snehashish, who underwent heart surgery earlier this year, suddenly started vomiting, after which he was rushed to the hospital.

The current BCCI President Sourav is monitoring the situation in London, where he is currently.

Snehasish, the current secretary of the Cricket Association of Bengal (CAB), represented Bengal in the Ranji Trophy by playing 55 first-class matches and scoring 2534 runs. During a routine health check-up in January this year, it was revealed that the 55-year-old was suffering from Single Vessel Disease (RCA), which required angioplasty.

She underwent angioplasty a few weeks later after Sourav had a sudden blackout and chest pain during a workout at his residence. Currently in the UK, he was seen participating in the ongoing India-England second Test at Lord’s Cricket Ground along with his wife Donna and BCCI General Secretary Jay Shah.

Ganguly posted on his Instagram account, “Come here in 1996 as a player first … and then as captain … Enjoyed the game at Lord’s today as an administrator … India is an all time Was in good shape and is… this game of cricket is fantastic.” When he participated in the opening day of the competition.

As per reports, Sourav is in London to discuss the future of current India head coach Ravi Shastri, who plans to step down after the ICC Men’s T20 World later this year.
