Battlegrounds: PUBG: Battlegrounds is now a free-to-play game on PC and consoles – Times of India

Following the F2P transition announcement at The Game Awards (TGA), South Korean video game developer Crafton has announced that pubg:Battlegrounds is now free to play on PC and gaming consoles.
Players can now play the popular battle royale game on their PC and consoles without paying for the game.
The company also says that this new F2P transition for PUBG: Battlegrounds marks a new era for the game.
Along with the new announcement, the company has also introduced a new battleground plus Optional premium account upgrade available for a one-time fee of $12.99.
Battlegrounds Plus includes Bonus 1,300 G-COIN, Survival Mastery XP + 100% Boost, Career – Medals Tab, Ranked Mode, Custom Match functionality, in-game items, including a Captain’s Camo set, which includes hats, camo masks and Camo gloves are included. ,
Players who have purchased the game before the F2P transition will get a PUBG Special Commemorative Pack. This pack will come with automatic account upgrades to Battlegrounds Plus, the battle-hardened costume skin set irons and shanks legacy pan and the battle-hardened Legacy nameplate.
Apart from this, the company has also started rolling out the version 15.2 update for the game. The update brings new Tactical Gear, a new category for in-game items that help improve players’ performance.
New tactical gears include drones and EMTs. Drones allow players to conduct remote recce and pick up goods without any risk. EMT Gear will allow players to opt for faster healing abilities for themselves and team members.
Other additions as part of the update include improved in-game fluidity with action queuing, basic training mode that includes a new AI training match, and lobby tutorial missions.
