Mumbai: Actor Manoj Bajpayee on Wednesday unveiled the motion poster of his upcoming courtroom drama film ‘Banda’. Manoj shared the poster on Instagram, captioning which he wrote, “Get ready for the battle between man vs godman. Trailer coming on 8th May. Stay tuned!” In the film, the actor plays a lawyer in the film who is bound to bring the truth before the judge, no matter how difficult the circumstances. Directed by Apoorva Singh Karky, the film is all set to stream on the OTT platform ZEE5.
As soon as the actor dropped the motion poster, fans flooded the comments section with red hearts and fire emoticons.

Talking about the film, Suparn S Verma earlier said, “Banda tells a story of how a common man can face the system with honesty and integrity when he has the truth. This is the story of how when the system works If it does, how well does it work?” That justice cannot be denied, and it addresses a very important issue of faith. He also spoke about how the film will inspire people and make them think.
Director Apoorva Singh Karki said, “Banda has everything – a tough story, a cool and outspoken actor like Manoj Bajpayee and a solid supporting cast.”
The film starring Manoj is based on a courtroom drama and is inspired by true events.
‘Bandaa’ is backed by Vinod Bhanushali’s Bhanushali Studios Limited, Zee Studios and Suparn S Varma.
Written by Deepak Kingrani ‘Bandaa’ is produced by Vinod Bhanushali, Kamlesh Bhanushali, Asif Sheikh and Vishal Gurnani and co-produced by Juhi Parekh Mehta. The release date for the movie is yet to be revealed.
