Baloch singer Wahab Ali Bugti’s rendition of Teri Mitti wins internet’s heart

A beautiful presentation of the popular Bollywood Geet Teri Mitti Akshay Kumar Starrer film Kesari is going viral. This version of the track is more special than the rest as it is sung by Baloch singer Wahab Ali Bugti.

The video featuring Wahab and his team has been shared by Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officer Avneesh Sharan on Twitter. The soulful performance of the Baloch singer from the 2019 track has garnered over 47 thousand views on the microblogging site.

In the clip now going viral, a man is seen playing a local dhol while all others are playing a regional instrument. A microphone has been installed in front of Wahab as he is the only person to sing. The two minute 20 second video has garnered a lot of love and appreciation from the netizens. Many in the comments praised the version and wrote how beautifully the Baloch singer sang it.

Avneesh also lauded Wahab’s version of the track penned by Manoj Muntashir and wrote that listening to it would make one happy from the bottom of their heart. In another tweet, she praised Manoj saying that he is amazing.

The lyricist of the track also reacted to the tweet and in his reply called the IAS officer kind.

Earlier, the singing of a Delhi Police jawan had also received a lot of appreciation. In June 2020, Rajat Rathore dedicated his performance to all the frontline workers who risked their lives to help and serve the people across the country. Her video was also shared by Akshay Kumar, who appreciated her efforts and praised her singing talent.

The track is originally sung by B Praak and music composed by Arko. This song has been used in the film to pay tribute to the soldiers.
