Sharing his experience on how he got admission in Kashi Vidyapeeth, Rupesh said, “My theory part in the entrance exam was not good. However, I had landscape painting in my practical and it went well. On the last day of the counseling round, I got a call and then I was asked why have you come to Vidyapeeth? I replied that I want to illuminate the name of the Vidyapeeth with my work. After completing my BFA and doing sand art in various programs, I randomly checked the website of my college and saw my name in the achievement section of the official website of Kashi Vidyapeeth.
Rupesh has won many competitions. Sharing his experience on how he won his first competition, Rupesh said, “I saw the participants coming in their luxurious cars with helpers and professional tools and equipment. I was very afraid. I used the remnants of broken kite sticks, cane baskets and wall putty. I had to make sand art on any contemporary issue and I did fodder scam (fodder scam) which got the first position.
During the Uttar Pradesh assembly elections, he has volunteered for many districts by making sand art and creating awareness among voters. He has worked in Noida, Lucknow, Prayagraj, Ghaziabad and many more. Recently she made sand art at India’s first green polling booth during the assembly elections at AP Sen Girls Degree College, Lucknow.

The reason behind choosing sand art is his parents. Coming from a poor family, Rupesh started his journey as a sand artist at a very young age watching his parents work in the farm. He used to tour the fields and paint on the ground with the help of sand. Rupesh developed his interest in this art field by witnessing events held in villages like Ganesh Puja, Saraswati Puja and Lakshmi Puja. Rupesh is also famous for recreating various events of Ramayana on sand like Shri Ram meeting Hanuman ji during Deepotsav in Ayodhya, Ram-Kevat dialogue, dialogue between Ram and younger brother Bharata in the jungle etc. He was respected and respected by the administration and local citizens for his creativity.
