Punjab cabinet ministers Tript Rajinder Bajwa and Sukhjinder Singh Randhawa.

Two cabinet ministers Tript Rajinder Bajwa and Sukhjinder Singh Randhawa, who belong to Punjab Congress chief Navjot Singh Sidhu camp, have written another letter to the CM Captain Amarinder Singh. In response to the letter sent by both of them on the issue of making Batala a district, the letter written by the Captain to both of them, both the ministers have written the latest letter in response to the same. In this letter, both have once again questioned the working style of the captain. Both the cabinet ministers have written in the latest letter sent to the CM that by giving district status to Batala, the Chief Minister should punish anyone, they will not have any objection.

Tript Rajinder Singh Bajwa and Sukhjinder Singh Randhawa have written that there is no need to write a letter to Pratap Singh Bajwa because he is from you (CM) from) keep meeting. We had to write letters (to both the ministers) because you (Captain) are unable to meet us. The meeting up to the cabinet is being held virtually.

Both the ministers wrote that they wanted to remind the Captain that when there was a distance between the two leaders, only Pratap Singh Bajwa had to write letters. Now if Bajwa is writing a letter even after being close, then it is surprising.

It is worth mentioning that two days back, Tript Rajinder Singh Bajwa and Sukhjinder Singh Randhawa had written to the CM demanding that Batala be made a district and Ghuman and Hargobindpur as sub-divisions. After the letter of both the ministers, Captain Amarinder Singh had said that before him, Pratap Singh Bajwa had demanded to make Batala a district and the state government was working on it.

Pratap Singh Bajwa also jumped in the controversy
Congress Rajya Sabha MP Pratap Singh Bajwa has also jumped in the ongoing letter-war between CM Captain Amarinder Singh and the two ministers. Pratap Singh Bajwa wrote on his social media account that during the British call, Gurdaspur was made district headquarters by abolishing the status of district headquarters of Batala. Now is the time to rectify that historical mistake. The state government should announce to make Batala the 24th district of Punjab.
