While a source said the aircraft made an emergency landing due to a technical problem, IndiGo said flight 6E 6282 from Delhi to Bagdogra returned to Delhi as a precautionary measure.
In a statement, IndiGo said, “The pilot observed a technical problem and requested to return. The aircraft landed safely and necessary inspections are being carried out. An alternate aircraft was made available to transport the passengers to Bagdogra.”
