Alia Bhatt and Bipasha Basu are enjoying a new phase in their lives – motherhood. Both the actresses welcomed baby girls last year. Alia, who also owns a maternity wear brand, recently gifted clothes to Bipasha’s daughter Devi. Basu gave a glimpse of the package on his social media handle and thanked Alia for the heartwarming gesture. He wrote, “Thank you Alia Bhatt, Devi is loving her new clothes.”
Bipasha Basu welcomed Devi on November 12, 2022, along with Karan Singh Grover. Their daughter turned 3 months recently when the Raaz actress wrote on her Instagram handle, “Every moment with her… is the best memory for us ❤️ Papa and mumma are just over the moon.”
Interestingly, Bipasha Basu confessed in an interview with Bombay Times that she and Karan always wanted a baby girl. “Karan and I were clear from the beginning that we wanted a child. I have no idea as to why it took so long or why it took time. This is the right time for me. I believe this is when we should have had our child. We believe in expression,” she had said.
“Since we want a baby boy, we expect a baby girl. I know a child is a beautiful gift, and we should accept any gender, and the bigger picture is, but we call our child ‘he’. We believe it is him, and we believe it ever since we decided to have a child, “said the actress.
Meanwhile, Alia Bhatt welcomed her baby girl Raha with Ranbir Kapoor on November 6 last year. The couple is yet to share a glimpse of their little one. Ranbir recently shared that he is missing his daughter and his wife as both are currently in Kashmir shooting for Maa Alia.
While promoting his much-awaited film Tu Jhoothi Main Makkar, Ranbir shared, “Naturally your heart, body and mind want to do everything for your baby. Unfortunately, Aaliya is shooting in Kashmir and has taken Raha with her. I am missing both of them a lot. He is going to come back (to Mumbai) after next five days. So, I’m looking forward to it. Alia and I, both being actors, and both busy with work, we have to divide our priorities to balance it.”
