Varanasi: A seminar and awareness program will be organized on the occasion of World Kidney Day on Saturday at the Institute of Medical Sciences of Banaras Hindu University. This program is being organized under the aegis of Department of Urology. nephrologyNational Medicos Organization of BHU and state organ and Tissue Transplant Organization Uttar Pradesh (SOTTO UP).
According to the organizing secretary, Dr Yashasvik Singh, Various diseases related to kidney, their prevention, kidney transplant will be discussed in this program. Under the awareness program, a cycle rally has been organized from the Institute of Medical Sciences to Kashi Vishwanath Temple in the campus.
Doctors and medical students will participate in this rally and make people aware about kidney related diseases and their treatment in various ways. Dr. R. Harsh Vardhan (Nodal Officer Soto UP), Dr. SK Tiwari (Chairman.) MO), Faculty Head of the Departments of Urology and Nephrology Other professors and doctors will be present on this occasion.
