Avesh Khan will join the Indian team: Delhi Capitals fast bowler Avesh Khan has been rewarded for his brilliant bowling during the 14th season of the Indian Premier League. The BCCI has asked the 24-year-old bowler to join Team India’s T20 World Cup squad. Avesh will remain in the UAE even after the IPL and will be a part of Team India during the T20 World Cup.
The T20 World Cup is scheduled to start from October 17 in the UAE and Oman. India will start their campaign in the T20 World Cup by playing against Pakistan on 24 October. Avesh is the second fast bowler to join the team after J&K pacer Umran Malik.
“The national selectors have also decided to take Avesh in the team. He will now be a part of the team as a net bowler, but he will be included in the team,” a source close to the BCCI selection committee told PTI on Tuesday. Playing 11 if management decides to do so.”

As a fast bowler, Avesh has so far taken 23 wickets for Delhi Capitals in the current season of IPL. Delhi Capitals will face Kolkata Knight Riders in the second qualifier match on Wednesday.
