Avatar 2 Box Office Collection Day 2: Avatar The Way Of Water has started its run in Indian cinemas on the right note. The film opened to rave reviews and is being praised for its exceptional VFX and highly hyped storytelling. Avatar 2’s Rs 41 crore opening put it ahead of films like ‘Avengers: Infinity War’, ‘Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness’ and ‘Spider-Man: No Way Home’. However, it lags behind the 2019 blockbuster ‘Avengers: Endgame’.

Avatar: The Way of Water has opened strongly at the box office in India. According to Box Office India, the business of Avatar 2 was majorly driven by South Indian markets such as Andhra Pradesh, Tamil Nadu, Kerala and Karnataka. Together they earned Rs 22 crore.
“Despite the decline in Nizam/Andhra the film is putting up huge numbers in this circuit and in no time will surpass Avenger Endgame numbers to become the highest grossing non-south film in the circuit. Hindi circuit did well on Saturday has shown growth. And will increase to around 20-25%.”
