Noida: Three people have been arrested for allegedly breaking the lock of the shop on Monday night. ATM and stole six lakh rupees.
According to the police, the accused have been identified as Zubair Azadi (21), Rashid (19) and Kalim (20), all residents of Palwal,
“On Sunday, a manager of a public sector bank filed a complaint in Sector 31 of some miscreants manipulating ATMs and withdrawing a total of Rs 6 lakh in multiple transactions,” said. Ranvijay SinghAdditional Deputy Commissioner of Police (ADCP), Noida.
After the complaint, a case of cheating under section 420 (cheating) of the IPC has been registered at Sector 20 police station. Police said they have recovered around Rs 21,000 in cash, three mobile phones, two debit cards and a car from them.
“Two of the accused used to go inside the ATM kiosk, while the third stood outside to keep a watch on any movement,” the officer said.
