Bhopal: A major accident took place on Tuesday in Khargone district of Madhya Pradesh when a bus carrying passengers fell from a bridge. As per initial reports, several people have died and many have been injured in the tragic incident and the death toll is likely to rise. Police and rescue teams have reached the accident site and are carrying out rescue operations.

News agency ANI quoted Khargone SP Dharam Vir Singh as confirming that 15 people have died and 25 have been injured after a bus fell off a bridge in Khargone. The SP said that at present the rescue operation is going on.



Several bodies have been pulled out from the Narmada river after the tragic bus accident. It is being told that the accident happened due to the driver losing control of the bus. However, the exact reasons for the accident are yet to be ascertained. It is being told that there were about 50 passengers in the plane. The injured have been immediately taken to the nearest hospital for treatment.
