In a heartfelt conversation with The Indian Express, Manjule said, “I have learned the importance of promoting my films in a better way and ensuring that my film reaches out to as many people as possible. People should know that your film is coming. If people look at it and tell me it was bad, that’s fine. I love negative feedback, I take it constructively, but I don’t like it when people don’t see it and say it’s a good film. A lot of people now know that Jhund was released and tell me they’ve heard it’s a good film. I wish they would have seen it too, that too in theaters because it helps the film and people can enjoy the films better on the big screen.
