Assembly Elections 2022: Right to vote arithmetic in exit polls, BJP’s victory in 4 states, AAP’s landslide victory in Punjab

As the results of the assembly elections showed the BJP’s clear mandate in Uttar Pradesh, voters emerged victorious, predicting not only a victory for the saffron party, but an emphatic victory for the AAP in Punjab.

However, exit polls were derailed with the result in Uttarakhand, where 11 of them predicted a close fight with the BJP, marginally ahead of the Congress. In the results which came on Thursday, the saffron party saw a big victory, in which the Congress was left far behind.

Eight exit polls – ABP News-CVoter, ETG Research, India Today- Axis My India, India TV-CNX, Zee News-Designbox, India News, News24 Today’s Chanakya and Republic P-Mark- predicted more than 240 seats Is. For the BJP in Uttar Pradesh, the party, along with its allies in the state, set an average of 241 seats out of the party’s total 403 seats.

In the exit polls too, Akhilesh Yadav’s Samajwadi Party (SP) came second with an average of 142 seats.

India Today- Axis My India had predicted 288 to 326 seats for BJP, while News24 Today’s Chanakya gave 294 seats to the party. India TV-Ground Zero Research gave the party 182 to 220 seats.

At present, BJP is leading in 253 seats and SP on 114 seats.

Another big win for exit polls came in Punjab, where the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) outperformed all others in a landslide victory, something that was predicted by a majority of voters, who said the party was in fact the most seats. Will win state.

AAP got 63 seats and Congress 28 seats in the exit polls. On Thursday, AAP is set to claim 92 seats and Congress 18 seats.

India Today- Axis My India’s prediction of one to four seats for the BJP in Punjab and 76 to 90 seats for the AAP emerged as the clear winner in the electoral race in the state.

In News 24 Today’s Chanakya election, AAP got 100 seats and Congress got 10 seats.

For Uttarakhand, most exit polls predicted a close contest between the BJP and the Congress with 35 and 32 seats, respectively, out of the total 70 seats. BJP got 47 seats and Congress 19 seats in Thursday’s mandate (till evening).

In Goa, exit polls predicted a hung assembly with 16 seats each for the BJP and the Congress. However, the results showed a clear victory for the saffron party with 20 seats and the Congress with 11 seats.

In Manipur, where the election results showed the BJP a major victory with 29 seats, exit polls predicted a mandate of 30 seats for them. All the voters got the right of arithmetic for the state.
