An Australian fan is seen proposing to his girlfriend at the Gabba’s stand on the third day of the first Ashes Test. The incident happened during the morning session on Friday and the video was shared on social media by Australia’s channel Seven.
The pair of Rob and Nat came to watch the action of the first Ashes Test on the third day. Meanwhile, Rob gets down on one knee and asks Nat if she will marry him. For a moment, Nat was stunned by the offer but said ‘yes’. Her agreement led to a celebration of hugs and kisses, while the entire episode was caught on camera.

Meanwhile, a spirited fight from David Malan and Joe Root helped England near the third day of the first Ashes Test at The Gabba as the tourists reached 220/2 at stumps, trailing by 58 runs.

A 159-run partnership between Malan (80 not out) and Root (86 not out) with eight wickets in hand has set the scene for an interesting day four. It was the day when England finally managed to bounce back in the match after Australia took a 278-run lead.
The partnership grew in confidence and runs as England scored 113 runs in the final session but did not lose a single wicket. With this, Root surpassed former captain Michael Vaughan for the most Test runs scored by an England player in a calendar year.
Earlier, Travis Head resumed from his overnight score of 112, starting his offensive on the third day with a pull-through square leg off Chris Woakes. Starc broke boundaries against Woakes, Ollie Robinson and Mark Wood to give them good company.
