Aryan Khan, son of Bollywood supper star Shah Rukh Khan And Gauri Khan, an interior designer, has been behind bars since October 7 after being initially apprehended by the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) in connection with the alleged seizure of banned drugs from a cruise ship off the coast of Mumbai. Aryan has denied the allegations against him. His lawyer Satish Manshinde repeatedly told the court that no drugs were found from the star-kid’s son and “there was no evidence that he had consumed any drugs”.
Aryan was denied bail for the first time on 8 October. Incidentally, the same day was also Aryan’s mother Gauri Khan’s birthday. Gauri’s close friends from the film fraternity, including Farah Khan and Sussanne Khan, had hoped for the “best birthday gift” for the star wife, but in a major setback, Aryan’s bail plea was rejected by the court. Since then, Aryan has now spent 24 days in jail, first in NCB custody and later in judicial custody, and has missed several family events. The Bombay High Court will continue hearing his bail plea today in October after a special court under the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act. 20 rejected his application in the drugs case.

Aryan Khan spent this year’s Dussehra in Arthur Road jail after the Mumbai sessions court had reserved the verdict on his bail plea for October 20. The court later rejected his plea in connection with the Mumbai drug bust case, leaving Shah Rukh and Gauri “broken”.

Aryan also remembered his parents Shah Rukh Khan and Gauri Khan’s 30th wedding anniversary.
