A special court in Mumbai will hear the bail plea filed by Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan’s son Aryan in an alleged rave party case. Aryan, Munmun Dhamecha, Arbaaz Seth Merchant and others were arrested after the Narcotics Control Bureau raided a Goa-bound cruise on October 2. They were booked under relevant sections of the NDPS Act.
Aryan and others were sent to judicial custody for 14 days by a magistrate court in Mumbai. The court dismissed the NCB’s plea seeking extension of the accused’s custody.
The NCB on Wednesday (October 13) alleged that Aryan, along with others, was involved in “illicit drug trafficking, purchase and distribution of narcotics”, which, according to a report in IANS, is banned under the NDPS Act. .
The IANS report further said that the federal agency also accused the star kid of being in contact with people who may be part of an international illegal drug syndicate.
