THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Thiruvananthapuram mayor Arya Rajendran, youngest mayor in the country, tied the knot with Balussery MLA KM Sachin Dev in a function held at AKG centre here on Sunday.

Starting from the invitation card, the event was marked by simplicity.
Rajendran had said that she did not wish to receive any gifts for the wedding and that those who wished to do so may contribute towards chief minister’s disaster response fund or donate to old age homes and the destitute.
Senior leaders handed over the garlands to Arya Rajendran and Sachin Dev. The couple garlanded each other and shook hands.
A tea party followed the wedding.
